Appointment to a Permanent Position. If a temporary employee is appointed to a permanent position, credited paid time off hours and earned, but not yet credited paid time off hours, shall be converted to vacation hours and subject to the MOU provisions relating to vacation, except that when a temporary employee is appointed to aa permanent position, the employee shall be allowed to use the earned paid time off hours during the first six (6) months of employment in a permanent position.
