Apprentice Mechanics. An apprentice will be paid his percentage of the premium rate if he is assigned a repair job falling within any of the above listings. All “P” series vans, motor homes – car rate plus fifty cents per flat rate hour. This will also apply to 4 x 4’s or ¾ tons where substantial modifications have greatly altered normal profile of the vehicle. All vehicles above (1) ton, car rate plus one dollar ($1.00) per flat rate hour.
