Common use of Apprentice Training Clause in Contracts

Apprentice Training. The parties to this Agreement recognize a need for training and apprentice positions particularly in the Department of Public Works. To this end the Joint Union Management Committee will discuss the creation of trainee positions and further apprenticeship programs with a view to upgrading present Employees.
