Common use of Approval of Construction Clause in Contracts

Approval of Construction. ‌ Before commencing construction of any Improvements to the Premises, the Lessee must obtain the Lessor’s written approval of the proposed Improvements. The Lessee’s request for the Lessor’s approval of the proposed Improvements must be in writing and must include: (a) proposed Construction Documents; (b) if required by the Lessor, evidence of the availability of funding for the Improvements; (c) documentation that required construction insurance is in effect; and (d) other information as required by the Lessor.
