Common use of Approval of Subcontracts Clause in Contracts

Approval of Subcontracts. Sponsor will not subcontract the work or services to be performed under this Agreement or in connection with the Project by Sponsor without the prior written approval of Clean Cities - Atlanta's Executive Director or his Authorized Agent. If such subcontracting is authorized as herein provided, then Sponsor will submit all subcontract documents to Clean Cities - Atlanta's Executive Director or his Authorized Agent, for review and approval before execution. Further, if requested by Clean Cities - Atlanta's Executive Director or his Authorized Agent, Sponsor will provide such documentation as Clean Cities - Atlanta may require, regarding the method Sponsor used in selecting its subcontractors). Sponsor acknowledges that, because the Project is financed partially through funds from government entities, the selection of subcontractors must be conducted in a fiscally responsive manner. Sponsor will comply with such regulations in its selection procedure to the extent such regulations are deemed to apply by the Funding Agencies.
