Common use of ARTICLE OVERTIME Clause in Contracts

ARTICLE OVERTIME. The following overtime clause will apply to employees in lieu of the provisions of through Overtime and recall for overtime will be limited to full-time employees, except that, where full-time employees do not wish, or are not available to provide necessary overtime requirements, employees may be used. Full-time employees on days off will be canvassed before overtime is offered to employees. Time Bank provisions will apply to employees except that Time Bank will be accumulated on the same basis as overtime payment. Employees will be paid monthly for any time worked in excess of the agreed hours. Such overtime will be paid at straight time rates except where work is performed in excess of eight hours in any continuous twenty-four hour period, in which case the employee will be paid at the applicable overtime rate on the same basis as full-time employees, and receive the meal allowance in herein as provided.
