ARTICLE REPRESENTATION. The Employer will recognize a Grievance composed of not more than four (4) employees selected by the Union to be known as provided that no more than four (4) members of the Grievance Committee, including the Chief ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, shall be present at any meeting with the Employer. In order to provide proper representation for employees, the Union will appoint a temporary ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ to act in the place of any ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ who is absent from work for a period of more than seven days. The Union will inform the Employer of the name of the appointee. Where an employee is required to attend a meeting in which a written warning, suspension or discharge is to be given, the Department Head or designate will inform the employee of his right to have a union ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ present prior to taking up the matter with the employee. The employee may, if desired, request the presence of the union ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ during the interview. Where the employee requests such representation, the Department Head will send for the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ without further discussion of the matter with the employee. If a ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ is not available, the employer shall schedule the disciplinary meeting within the next twenty-four hours and it shall then become the sole responsibility of the employee concerned to arrange for a union ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ to be in attendance when the meeting occurs. The union acknowledges its responsibility to keep the employer informed of a current list of union stewards. This requirement for union representation becomes null and void where the Employer has not received the names of union stewards, or the Employer given incorrect names or the employee fails to for a ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ to attend the meeting scheduled by the Department Head within the twenty-four hours as provided above. The Chief ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ and Union Business Agent shall receive copies of all disciplinary notices issued to members of the bargaining unit which have been placed on the individual's personnel file at the time of issue unless the employee specifically requests copies not be sent. Any disciplinary notation issued to an employee will be removed from his record two (2) years after the date of issuance provided the employee receives no other disciplinary notation of a similar nature within the said two year period. Employees shall not be eligible to serve as members of the Grievance Committee unless they have been in the Employer's continuous employ for not less than six months. The Union acknowledges that Stewards have their regular duties to perform on behalf of the Employer and that such persons shall not leave their regular duties without having first secured permission from their immediate supervisor, which permission shall not be unreasonably withheld. Stewards shall state their destination to their immediate supervisor and shall report again to him at the time of their return to work. This function is to be performed by the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ without loss of regular pay from the ▇▇▇▇ The Employer agrees to pay the wages of negotiating committee members for regular scheduled hours not worked because of negotiations with the Company prior to mediation.

ARTICLE REPRESENTATION. The Employer Members of the Shop Committee shall meet and deal with the Company from time to time during the life of this Agreement. The Company agrees to pay Members of the Shop Committee their normal rate of pay, including shift premiums and overtime where applicable, for attending all meetings with Management up to but not including arbitration hearings in the case of grievances and mediation in the case of negotiations. The Shop Committee shall be five ( 5 ) in number, either elected or appointed by the Union. Five (5) areas of the plant shall be constituted as departments for determining representation on the Shop Committee as follows: Film Manufacturing, Finishing, Maintenance and Warehouse. During the term of this Agreement, the Shop Committee cannot exceed five The Maintenance representative shall be a skilled tradesperson. Each of the five (5) members of the Shop Committee will recognize a Grievance composed of not more than four (4) employees selected be designated by the Union to represent of the departments specified in The Union agrees that before a Union member leaves work to conduct union business they must first obtain permission from their Supervisor. The Negotiating Committee will be allowed time off work, without of a similar nature within straight (maximum hours as per scheduled shift) for meetings with the said Gallery. The Gallery the right of the Union to appoint three (3) stewards from employees to assist the employees in presenting grievances to representatives of the Gallery. It is understood and agreed that stewards shall be appointed from employees who have completed their probationary period of service at the Gallery. The Union may designate two year period(2) stewards and one Chief ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ to represent employees. Employees The Union shall inform the Gallery in writing of the name of the stewards and the Chief ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ and the effective dates of their appointment. A Labour-Management Committee shall be established consisting of three representatives of the union and three representatives of the Gallery. Such may meet from time to time at mutually agreeable times in order to discuss matters of mutual concern. This Committee shall not be eligible used as a means to serve as members circumvent the Grievance Procedure. The party requesting a meeting shall present an agenda of matters to be discussed at the time the request is made. Any matters to be added to the agenda shall be brought to the attention of the Grievance Committee unless they have been in advance of the Employer's continuous employ for not less than six monthsmeeting. A National Representative of the Union may, at option, any meeting of Committee. The Union acknowledges that Stewards have their regular duties to perform on behalf of the Employer and that such persons shall not leave their regular duties without having first secured permission from their immediate supervisor, which permission shall not be unreasonably withheld. This function is to be performed by acknowledgesthat the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ has duties to perform on behalf of the Gallery, and that will not leave duties without loss obtaining the permission of regular pay from immediate managerial supervisor. permission will not be unreasonably withheld. Stewards and the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ The Employer agrees shall not suffer any loss of pay for total time spent presenting grievances. A National Representative may have access to pay the wages of negotiating committee members for regular scheduled hours not worked because of negotiations Gallery premises with the Company prior advance approval of Director, Human Resources. The Union agrees that the National Representative will not engage in any activity which has the effect of interfering with the regularly scheduled work of employees except to mediationthe extent specifically authorized by the Director, Human Resources or designate. In the interest of the more orderly administration of the agreement, the Gallery will permit the Stewards two (2) hours per week without loss of pay or benefits for the purpose of conducting the administrative business of the Union local. The scheduling of this time off will be at a mutually agreed time between the Chief ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ and the Manager, Protection Services.
