ARTICLE SCOPE AND RECOGNITION. The Employer recognizes as the bargaining agent of all employees of Lincoln Place Nursing Home in Metropolitan Toronto, save and except supervisors, persons above the rank of supervisor, office staff, physiotherapists and occupational therapists, security guards, those employed as registered or graduate nurses, persons regularly employed for not more than (24) hours per week, and students employed during the school vacation period. The Employer undertakes that he will not enter into any other agreement or contract with those employees for whom the Union has bargaining rights either individually or collectively which will conflict with any of the provisions of this Agreement. Where the feminine pronoun is used in this Agreement, it shall mean and include the masculine pronoun where the context so applies. Where the singular is used, it may also be deemed to mean the plural, within the appropriate context. Any reference to doctor will include, where appropriate, nurse practitioner.
