Article Title. Job Posting 1. When the Employer determines the existence of a vacancy or new position, the Employer may use their discretion on posting the position internally or externally. The Employer shall post an external posting at a minimum on the City website and send an email to all employees with the vacancy information. 2. The Department has the right to select employees to fill new or vacant positions through competitive hiring practices. Promotional vacancies should be advertised for a minimum period of fourteen (14) days.
