As to Investment Property Clause Samples

The "As to Investment Property" clause defines the rights and obligations of parties regarding investment property, such as stocks, bonds, or other financial assets used as collateral or subject to a security interest. This clause typically outlines how such property is to be identified, controlled, and perfected under applicable law, often requiring the debtor to maintain certain standards or provide notice of changes. Its core function is to ensure that the secured party's interest in the investment property is properly established and protected, thereby reducing the risk of disputes or loss of priority in the event of default.
