Common use of Assigned Rest Days Clause in Contracts

Assigned Rest Days. Employees shall be assigned two (2) rest days in each seven (7). The rest days shall be consecutive as far as possible consistent with the establishment of regular relief assignments and the avoidance of working an employee on an assigned rest day. Preference shall be given to Saturday and Sunday and then to Sunday and Monday. Workweeks may be staggered in accordance with the Company’s operational requirements.
