Common use of Assignment and Sub-Subletting Clause in Contracts

Assignment and Sub-Subletting. Sub-Subtenant shall not voluntarily or ----------------------------- by operation of law, (1) mortgage, pledge, hypothecate or encumber the Sub- Sublease or any interest therein, (2) assign or transfer the Sub-Sublease or any interest therein, sub-sublet the Sublease Premises or any part thereof, without first obtaining the written consent of Landlord.
