Common use of Assignment by the Landlord Clause in Contracts

Assignment by the Landlord. If there is a sale, lease or other disposition by the Landlord of the Building and/or the Lands or any part thereof, or the assignment by the Landlord of this Lease or any interest of the Landlord hereunder, and to the extent that the purchaser or assignee assumes the covenants and obligations of the Landlord hereunder, the Landlord will, thereupon and without further agreement, be relieved of all further liability with respect to its covenants and obligations.

Assignment by the Landlord. If there is a sale, lease or other disposition by the Landlord sells, leases or otherwise disposes of the Building and/or the Lands Land or any part thereofthereof containing the Premises, or the assignment by if the Landlord of assigns this Lease or any interest of the Landlord hereunder, and to the extent that the purchaser purchaser, lessee under such Lease or assignee assumes thereof has assumed the covenants and obligations of the Landlord hereunder, the Landlord willshall, thereupon and without further agreement, be free and relieved of all further liability with respect to its such covenants and obligations.
