Common use of Assignment of Housing Clause in Contracts

Assignment of Housing. All students are required to reside on campus for 3 years, defined as a combination of six fall and spring semesters. Any required student who does not preference housing or select housing will be assigned a space in a residence hall. The College expressly reserves the right at any time during the year to reassign the student to other housing accommodations. In the event of a vacancy, the College reserves the right to assign students to unoccupied beds. Students are required to keep any vacant spaces ready for assignment of a roommate or suitemate at any time. Requests for room changes must be approved through the Office of Housing & Residence Life. A charge of $35 will be made for every room change.
