Common use of Assignment of Land Clause in Contracts

Assignment of Land. The Developer must not Assign its interest in the Land, other than single residential lots approved pursuant to a Development Consent and created by the registration of a plan of subdivision, unless: i Council consents to the Assignment; and ii the proposed assignee enters into an agreement to the satisfaction of Council under which the assignee agrees to be bound by the terms of this document with respect to the relevant part of the Land being Assigned.
