Assignment Provisions. Under assignment provisions the following will apply: A pilot may be assigned in advance, any open flying on normal working days. This flying must fall within the six hour "window" as defined in Article It is desirable to offer pairings that are similar to the ones being pay protected. A pilot may be offered an open time reassignment on days off, but refusal will not disqualify the pilot from pay protection. Should a pilot accept reassignment on days off, he will not have to be available on the scheduled working days that are being replaced as a result of such assignment.
