Association Release Time Sample Clauses

Association Release Time. By mutual agreement between the Appointing Authority and the SRSEA Executive Board, a member may receive Association release time to complete Association business. The Association will reimburse the Appointing Authority for the release time at the teacher’s hourly rate of pay.

Association Release Time. Subd. 1. The Employer and the Association agree that the conduct of Association business shall be governed as follows: (a) Duly authorized representatives of the Association shall be free to transact official Association business necessary to the performance of Association responsibilities to ASF bargaining unit members, including grievance representation activities. Such business may be conducted at the university at reasonable times so long as it does not interfere with the normal functioning of the university. (b) Association representatives who are appointed to serve on System level committees or committees established by the university President or his/her designee shall be released to perform such service. Use of the above noted time to perform Association business shall be governed by the principle that such time shall not be unreasonable.

Association Release Time. A. The Association President or designee shall be entitled to fifty (50) days leave for use during the school year to engage in Association activities directly related to the Association's duties as the exclusive representative of the teachers without loss of compensation. The Association will pay the current cost of the substitute. B. Additionally, the WTEA President will work with his or her building principal to determine a schedule that would allow Association release for the President of one less class and no advisory class for the 2020-2021 school year only.

Association Release Time. A. The City shall make reasonable provisions for authorizing use of vacation leave, holiday time, or compensatory time for employees to attend or conduct Association functions. Such release from duty is subject to scheduling requirements in the interest of efficient operation of the department but shall not be arbitrarily refused by the City. B. The City will make provisions for a total of twenty-four (24) hours authorized leave annually for the Association Associate (or designees) to attend the Association convention or other major Association business meetings. The above time off for the Association Associate (or designees) shall be days off with full pay at no expense to the employee's vacation or sick leave credit. However, the City will allow up to four (4) employees per year (no more than two (2) at any one time) to attend, without loss of pay or benefits, the semi-annual Leadership Seminars sponsored by the Association. Any employee accepting such training may be required to serve as a shift representative for at least one (1) year from the date of the training. C. The Associate of the Association shall, at least 10 days prior to the date of the function submit notice to the Communications Director identifying the function, certify the member(s) attending, and indicate the starting and ending date and applicable scheduled hours for each employee. The Communications Director will approve the request within three working days after receipt, provided Center operations will not be unreasonably affected on the scheduled days in question.

Association Release Time. The Association and the Board recognize that the Association President or designee may be required to meet or conduct business with the Board, Superintendent, or other Administrators during the school day. In order to allow time for said meetings and other related business, the Association President or designee will be granted release time by the Superintendent.

Association Release Time. During the term of this Agreement, the exclusive representative will have available 480 hours of release time. This time shall include all time spent away from teaching duties on behalf of the exclusive representative as designated by the Northfield Education Association President including any negotiation or grievance activities. Association leave shall not be used for activities in support of any other exclusive representative of employees, nor to run for elective office of any kind.

Association Release Time. 69 The Association shall be entitled to receive up to a total of thirty (30) days of 70 release time per school year for the Association President or designee to conduct 71 Association business provided: 72 3.4.1 The Association notifies the District at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to 73 the desired release time (this time may be waived by the Superintendent). 74 3.4.2 The District is able to hire a qualified substitute. 75 3.4.3 The Association reimburses the District for the cost of the substitute.

Association Release Time. The Association representatives shall have a total of eight (8) teacher days of released time per year without loss of compensation and at no cost to the District during the duration of this contract to utilize for local, state or national conferences or for conducting other business pertinent to Association affairs. The Association shall reimburse the District for the cost of a substitute when needed. These representatives shall be excused from school duties upon advance notification to their immediate supervisor. Such time shall be taken in full or half day increments.

Association Release Time. The Association Leadership and/or designee shall have up to a total of twenty-five (25) days per year of leave, at no loss of pay or benefits, to conduct pertinent Association business at the discretion of the Association. In addition, the Association shall receive a total of 20% FTE release time to be assigned on an annual basis at the discretion of the Association.
