Assumption of Contracts. The City reserves the right in termination for cause to take assignment of all contracts between the Contractor and its subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers. The City will promptly notify the Contractor of the contracts the City elects to assume. Upon receipt of such notice, the Contractor shall promptly take all steps necessary to effect such assignment.
