ATM Safety. Avoid using ATM machines alone at night or at sites that appear to have the potential for assault or robbery. Consider having someone accompany you when you are using the ATM after dark. Put your money away and leave the site as soon as you have completed your transaction. Count cash later in the safety of your vehicle or home. If you notice anyone suspicious approaching the ATM while you are using it, cancel your transaction and put the Card away immediately. Immediately report all crimes to the ATM operator and local law enforcement officials. DO NOT leave your receipts or card at the ATM.
