Common use of Authentication and Dating Clause in Contracts

Authentication and Dating. At any time and from time to time after the execution and delivery of this Indenture, the Company may deliver Securities of any series executed by the Company to the Trustee for authentication. Except as otherwise provided in this Article Three, the Trustee shall thereupon authenticate and deliver said Securities to or upon the written order of the Company, signed by the Chairman of the Board individually or by any Vice President acting together with the Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer, Chief Accounting Officer or any Assistant Treasurer. In authenticating such Securities, and accepting the additional responsibilities under this Indenture in relation to such Securities, the Trustee shall receive, and (subject to Section 6.01) shall be fully protected in relying upon:
