Common use of Authority Representative Clause in Contracts

Authority Representative. For the purposes of this Agreement, the Authority’s representative shall be the Chief Executive Officer or his designee (hereinafter the “Authority Representative”). It shall be Consultant’s responsibility to ensure that the Authority Representative is kept informed of the progress of the performance of the services, and Consultant shall refer any decisions that must be made by Authority to the Authority Representative except for the purpose of transmitting notices as set forth herein. Unless otherwise specified herein, any approval of Authority required hereunder shall mean the approval of the Authority Representative.
