AUTHORIZED EMPLOYEE REPRESENTATIVES. CWA may designate two (2) employees as authorized employee representatives or alternates to represent employees in the processing of grievances or during disciplinary proceedings subject to the following rules and procedures: a) Time spent during regularly scheduled work hours by an authorized employee representative or alternate in representing an employee shall only be compensated by County Fire at such representative’s or alternate’s base rate of pay. No overtime compensation shall be authorized for such purposes. b) County Fire vehicles and supplies may not be used. County Fire telephones may not be used in implementing the provisions of this Article if such use would unduly interfere with the efficiency, safety, or security of County Fire operations and result in telephone costs to County Fire.
