Common use of AUTHORIZED REPLACEMENT Clause in Contracts

AUTHORIZED REPLACEMENT. If an employee is authorized by the ▇▇▇▇ (or designate) to teach or perform other duties as a replacement for someone who does not reciprocate with like work, that employee shall be compensated at the following rates: Replacement for: Effective September 1, 2016 Course Instructor $161.03/lecture hour Tutorial/ Workshop Leader $80.55/tutorial hour Hourly-rated Positions as per hourly rate specified in Appendix A. Replacement for: Effective September 1, 2017 Course Instructor $163.85/lecture hour Tutorial/ Workshop Leader $81.96/tutorial hour Hourly-rated Positions as per hourly rate specified in Appendix A. Replacement for: Effective September 1, 2018 Course Instructor $166.30/lecture hour Tutorial/Workshop Leader $83.19/tutorial hour Hourly-rated Positions as per hourly rate specified in Appendix A. Such authorized replacement is intended to fill short-term emergency staffing needs not normally exceeding one month during the Fall/Winter session or an equivalent period during any other session.
