Authorized User Procurement Rights Sample Clauses

The Authorized User Procurement Rights clause defines the rights and procedures by which designated users within an organization are permitted to purchase goods or services under a contract. Typically, this clause outlines which individuals or departments are considered "authorized users," the scope of their purchasing authority, and any limitations or approval processes that must be followed. For example, it may specify that only certain employees can place orders or that purchases above a certain value require additional authorization. The core function of this clause is to ensure that procurement activities are controlled and compliant with organizational policies, thereby reducing the risk of unauthorized or inappropriate purchases.
