Auto-Extension Letters of Credit Sample Clauses

The Auto-Extension Letters of Credit clause establishes that a letter of credit will automatically renew for additional periods unless the issuing bank or applicant provides timely notice of non-renewal. In practice, this means that unless a specified notice is given before the current expiry date, the letter of credit remains in force, often for another year. This mechanism ensures continuous coverage for the beneficiary, reducing the risk of accidental lapse and providing ongoing financial security for transactions that may extend over a longer period.
