Availability for Work. (a) Any employee not available for call-out for any period of time in excess of five (5) working days will notify the employer of any day(s) they will not be available. (b) If the employee fails to notify the employer of such period of absence and/or they do not make themselves available for work unless for sickness or other just cause, he/she may be removed from the list. (c) If the employee is not on an approved leave and does not accept offered work for a minimum of twelve (12) offered shifts per half year they will lose their seniority as per Article 10(e). Each half year is defined as the period from February 1 to July 31 and August 1 to January 31 in any calendar year.
