Common use of Availability of Books and Records Clause in Contracts

Availability of Books and Records. Business Associate shall make its internal practices, books and records relating to the use and disclosure of PHI available for inspection and copying to Covered Entity and the Secretary, in a time and manner designated by Covered Entity or the Secretary (as applicable), for purposes of determining Covered Entity’s compliance with the Privacy Rule.

Availability of Books and Records. Business Associate shall hereby agrees to make its internal practices, books books, and records relating to the use and disclosure of PHI available for inspection and copying to received from, or created or received by Business Associate on behalf of the Covered Entity and the Secretary, in a time and manner designated by Covered Entity or available to the Secretary (as applicable), for purposes of determining the Covered Entity’s compliance with the Privacy RuleStandards.
