Common use of Back Time Clause in Contracts

Back Time. Every employee who after completion of his regular working hours (Mondaythrough Friday) and who has left thejob site, and is called back to work by the employer, and who is required to work outside his regular working hours, shall be paid at his applicable overtime rate, but not less than two (2) hours. When an employee is called out to work by the employer on Saturday, Sunday or a designated holiday, and he commences work, regardless of when called, Article shall Travel time if applicable will be paid. The provisions of Article do not apply when the employee has been called back as the result of a non-safe negligent act of the employee. In such cases, the employee will be paid at his regular straight time rate of wages for the actual hours of required attendance.
