Common use of Backwards Compatibility Clause in Contracts

Backwards Compatibility. Vendor represents and warrants (the “Software Backwards Compatibility Warranty”) that all Software will be Backwards Compatible. In the event that any Software supplied by Vendor does not provide Backwards Compatibility, then Vendor shall take all actions at Vendor’s sole expense so as to achieve Backwards Compatibility.
