Bad Weather Policy Clause Samples

A Bad Weather Policy clause defines how parties will handle obligations and scheduling in the event of adverse weather conditions. Typically, this clause outlines what constitutes 'bad weather,' the procedures for notifying affected parties, and how delays or rescheduling will be managed, such as extending deadlines or pausing work until conditions improve. Its core function is to allocate risk and provide clarity, ensuring that neither party is unfairly penalized for delays caused by weather beyond their control.
