Balancing Authority Area. The collection of generation, transmission, and loads within the metered boundaries of the Balancing Authority. The Balancing Authority maintains load-resource balance within this area.
Balancing Authority Area. The Parties agree that neither the S- Line Upgrade Incremental Transfer Capability nor Citizens’ actions to turn over such capability to CAISO Operational Control as an Entitlement will result in a change to the existing Balancing Authority Areas of IID or the CAISO. The entirety of the S-Line, as modified by the Project, shall remain within the IID Balancing Authority Area.

Capital Additions - To the extent necessitated by the Connecting Facilities, any Units of Property which are added to the Eldorado 500 kV Switchyard Infrastructure Facilities or General Facilities, the enlargement or betterment of any Units of Property constituting a part of the Eldorado 500 kV Switchyard Infrastructure Facilities or General Facilities,' and the replacement of any Units of Property constituting a part of the Eldorado 500 kV Switchyard Infrastructure Facilities or General Facilities, all such additions, enlargements, betterments, and replacements occurring after the In-Service Date, irrespective of whether such replacement constitutes an enlargement or betterment of that which it replaces, which additions, betterments, enlargements, and replacements in accordance with Accounting Practices would be capitalized.
Balancing Authority Area. The term “Balancing Authority Area” shall have the meaning specified in the “Glossary of Terms Used in NERC Reliability Standards.”

  • E1 Authority Data E1.1 The Contractor shall not delete or remove any proprietary notices contained within or relating to the Authority Data.

  • Territorial application This Agreement shall apply, on the one hand, to the territories in which the Treaty establishing the European Community is applied, and under the conditions laid down in that Treaty and, on the other hand, to the territory of the United States.

  • Authority Data The Contractor shall use the Authority Data only as necessary for the performance of its obligations under this Contract unless otherwise authorised in writing by the Authority.

  • Outage Authority and Coordination Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner may each, in accordance with NYISO procedures and Good Utility Practice and in coordination with the other Party, remove from service any of its respective Attachment Facilities or System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades that may impact the other Party’s facilities as necessary to perform maintenance or testing or to install or replace equipment. Absent an Emergency State, the Party scheduling a removal of such facility(ies) from service will use Reasonable Efforts to schedule such removal on a date and time mutually acceptable to both the Developer and the Connecting Transmission Owner. In all circumstances either Party planning to remove such facility(ies) from service shall use Reasonable Efforts to minimize the effect on the other Party of such removal.

  • Procurement of Goods and Services (a) If the HSP is subject to the procurement provisions of the BPSAA, the HSP will abide by all directives and guidelines issued by the Management Board of Cabinet that are applicable to the HSP pursuant to the BPSAA. (b) If the HSP is not subject to the procurement provisions of the BPSAA, the HSP will have a procurement policy in place that requires the acquisition of supplies, equipment or services valued at over $25,000 through a competitive process that ensures the best value for funds expended. If the HSP acquires supplies, equipment or services with the Funding it will do so through a process that is consistent with this policy.
