Common use of Bandwidth Limitations Clause in Contracts

Bandwidth Limitations. ▇▇▇▇ Sound Student Residence provides a shared, load-balanced connection of 50 Megabits Downstream, and 2 Megabits Upstream. All transfers are tracked for usage tracking and legal liability purposes. We ask that you refrain from using peer-to peer network such as Ares, BitTorrent, or otherwise when connection speeds are limited due to peak usage. There are limitations to how much you can download monthly. Over 50 gigabytes per month will be billed directly to the student at $1.00 per gigabytes to a maximum of 100 gigabytes at which time your Internet Service will be suspended for the remainder of the month.
