Common use of Barriers and diversions Clause in Contracts

Barriers and diversions. The Contracting Authority shall use all reasonable endeavours to procure that during the Operation Period, no barriers are erected or placed by any Government Instrumentality on the Project Network except for reasons of Emergency, national security, law and order or collection of relevant Taxes. The Contracting Authority shall also use all reasonable endeavours to procure that no Government Instrumentality shall undertake or cause to be undertaken, except for reasons of Emergency, national security or law and order, any diversions of traffic from, or closing down of approach roads to the Project Network that may cause a material adverse effect on the flow of traffic to and from the Project Network.
