The Base Contract clause establishes the foundational agreement between the parties, outlining the essential terms and conditions that govern their relationship. Base Contract. The teacher’s basic contract for assigned services and for a designated number of contract days, and which contract incorporates the terms of this agreement.
Base Contract. The school work year for employees shall be one hundred eighty (180) days, as specified on the approved District Calendar, Addendum D. Less than full-time staff shall be eligible for a pro rata share of the one hundred eighty (180) days.
Base Contract. The parties recognize that an educator’s job responsibilities fall outside of the student day. The role of a professional educator includes the effective instruction and assessment of students in addition to the responsibilities of being an active part of our educational community. This includes, but is not limited to:
1. Preparation of the classroom or workspace before, after, and during the school year for quality instruction or support of instruction;
2. Participation in self-selected or optional District professional growth activities such as workshops, classes, conferences, seminars, or research projects;
3. Participation in a reasonable and equitable number of department, building, and District task forces, committees and building goal activities;
4. Individualized/additional instruction or service to students or groups of students;
5. Fulfillment of additional contract expectations that fall outside the regular workday such as student assessments, adaptation of instruction and curriculum, participation in meetings regarding students (such as IEP, 504, and other meetings regarding student support) as may be appropriate to the educator’s assignment, and communication with parents and students; See Sections 5.8 and 5.34; and
6. Participation in a reasonable and equitable number, as determined by a building’s leadership team, of student supervision and building events that occur outside of the instructional day.
Base Contract. This Contract incorporates the entire Base Contract, including all documents incorporated by reference into the Base Contract. Such documents may include the solicitation, the Contractor’s response, catalogs, and price lists.
Base Contract. The contract for returning Faculty will normally be for nine (9) months including two semesters, the exact dates of the Academic Calendar to be determined by the chancellor with input from the CAO and faculty senate salary committee chair, and approved by the Board of Trustees. Each semester will be scheduled to permit all necessary or approved activities, general responsibilities, and Faculty obligations to be completed in no more than eighty-five (85) contract Days within a calendar period of no more than nineteen (19) consecutive weeks. The academic year will not extend beyond thirty-nine (39) consecutive weeks, for a total of no more than one hundred-seventy (170) contract Days. Holidays observed by the District which fall during each nineteen (19) week semester are not counted as part of the eighty-five (85)
Base Contract. If the base multi-year contract for a Ship Group is cancelled under FAR 52.217-2, Cancellation Under Multiyear Contracts, the cancellation ceiling set forth for that Ship Group in Section B for the program year cancelled shall apply. The ceiling applies to cancellation of an entire group.
Base Contract. The seller will provide the Home described in this Contract, and Seller will also perform the installation and set-up of the Home as described and outlined in Article II, (1) Scope of Work of this Contract, in return for which the Buyer will pay to Seller the amount required in this Contract.

2. Five additional days will be provided in a supplemental contract as follows:
