Common use of Base Payment Clause in Contracts

Base Payment. (a) No later than the day falling thirty (30) days after the Effective Date in respect of the first Semester and no later than the day falling thirty (30) days prior to the start date of each subsequent Semester, the Training Provider shall submit to the Procurer an invoice for the total estimated Base Payment (the Advance Base Payment) for the relevant Semester. (b) Subject to Clause 7.2, the Procurer shall pay the Training Provider the Advance Base Payment in accordance with the invoice submitted pursuant to Clause 6.2(a) provided that the Training Provider has provided the Procurer with the Advance Payment Bond in accordance with the requirements of Clause 8. (c) If the Training Provider does not provide the Procurer with the Advance Payment Bond in accordance with the requirements of Clause 8, the Training Provider shall not be entitled to payment of the Advance Base Payment and shall submit to the Procurer an invoice for the total Base Payment for the relevant Semester no later than the day falling thirty (30) days after the end of the relevant Semester.
