Common use of Base Salary Continuation Clause in Contracts

Base Salary Continuation. Following the Termination Date and continuing through the Continuation Period, the Company will continue to pay the Executive his base salary equivalent, at the rate in effect immediately prior to the Termination Date consistent with normal payroll practice. The payments following the Termination Date shall be in lieu of any and all severance pay to which the Executive might otherwise be entitled under any plan or program of the Company or any of its Subsidiaries or Affiliates.
