Common use of Base Salary Increases Clause in Contracts

Base Salary Increases. For the 2024-2025 school year new hires employed prior to ratification will have their starting salaries adjusted upward by $1100. For the 2024-2025 school year, all teachers receiving an evaluation rating of either effective or highly effective during the 2023-2024 school year and employed by the School Corporation for at least 120 days during the 2023-2024 school year will receive an increase in the base salary in the amount of $1100 and advance one step on the salary schedule. This increase is retroactive to the first pay in the contract and the remaining will be paid out through the remainder of the contract. This increase will result in salary levels shown in Appendix C. This base salary increase is attributable as follows:
