Common use of Basis for Payments Clause in Contracts

Basis for Payments. The parties understand and agree that the payments outlined herein cover the services specified in this Agreement. The parties further agree that this Agreement is entered into with an understanding that the level of services required shall be consistent with the accepted national standards of care at the time of execution of this Agreement. Any significant changes in the national standards of care as promulgated and approved by national authorities, such as the National Institute of Health or the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shall be cause to amend this Agreement so that required services shall comply with new national standards.
