Beginning Date. 1. Part time, full time, probationary, on-call, and other employees covered by this Agreement earn seniority on an equal basis. 2. An employee’s seniority date is the date of hire with an Employer or, in case of successorshipwith an SEIU contractor, the hire date at a Union job location or route, whichever is longer. Proof of successorship shall be supplied by the Union in writing. Further, in the case of successorship, said seniority date of employment shall be used solely to determine eligibility for wages and benefits. 3. For employees who are hired on the same date, the hours worked would determine seniority (i.e. the most hours would be most senior).
