Benefits After a Qualifying Termination Sample Clauses

The "Benefits After a Qualifying Termination" clause defines the rights of an employee or party to receive certain benefits if their employment or agreement is terminated under specific, predefined circumstances. Typically, this clause outlines what constitutes a qualifying termination—such as being laid off without cause or resigning for good reason—and details the types of benefits provided, which may include severance pay, continued health insurance, or accelerated vesting of equity. Its core function is to provide financial security and predictability for the affected party, while also clarifying the employer’s obligations in the event of such a termination.
