Common use of Benefits Allowance Clause in Contracts

Benefits Allowance. In lieu of benefits (Article 18 and 19 of the Full Time Bargaining Unit Employees Collective Agreement), employees shall receive a benefit allowance of twelve percent (12%) added to the wage rates paid to employees in the Full Time Bargaining Unit. The classifications and the rates of pay for each classification shall be those set out in the attached schedule hereto and marked as “B”.
