Benefits and Cost Savings. Statewide contracts are an easy way to obtain benefits for your organization by leveraging the Commonwealth’s buying power, solicitation process, contracting expertise, vendor management and oversight, and the availability of environmentally preferable products. GPO savings and efficiencies are realized by aggregating purchasing volume and using that leverage to negotiate discounts with manufacturers, distributors and other vendors of health supplies such as pharmaceuticals, biologics, medical/surgical equipment, laboratory supplies, and capital equipment. GPO’s actively negotiate contracts with manufacturers on behalf of their members, and/or provide their members access to the purchasing contracts of other GPO’s. The GPO supports the Commonwealth by using their contracts to establish the acquisition prices for pharmaceuticals purchased from the Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor on SWC MED47 Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor and successor contracts for Pharmaceuticals.
Benefits and Cost Savings.  The statewide contract covers a broad array of equipment, parts & services available through various authorized dealers of listed manufacturers.  Competitive Pricing – The Strategic Sourcing Services Team (SSST) has awarded the contract to those contractors who provided the most competitive pricing and/or discounts for the manufacturers being offered. Additional discounts are available, such as prompt pay discount, volume and or dock delivery discounts.   • Cost Savings Developer shall work cooperatively with Architect, Construction Manager, subcontractors and District, in good faith, to identify appropriate opportunities to reduce the Project costs and promote cost savings. Any identified cost savings from the Guaranteed Maximum Price shall be identified by Developer, and approved in writing by the District. In the event Developer realizes a savings on any aspect of the Project, such savings shall be added to the Contingency and expended consistent with the Contingency. In addition, any portion of Allowance remaining after completion of the Project shall be added to the Contingency. If any cost savings require revisions to the Construction Documents, Developer shall work with the District and Architect with respect to revising the Construction Documents and, if necessary, obtaining the approval of DSA with respect to those revisions. Developer shall be entitled to an adjustment of Contract Time for delay in completion caused by any cost savings adopted by District pursuant to Exhibit D, if requested in writing before the approval of the cost savings.

  • Developer Compensation for Emergency Services If, during an Emergency State, the Developer provides services at the request or direction of the NYISO or Connecting Transmission Owner, the Developer will be compensated for such services in accordance with the NYISO Services Tariff.
