BIDS and BIDS Worldview Payment Products. BIDS and BIDS Worldview Payment Products, are on-line payment order authorization facilities with built-in authentication procedures. Bank and Customer shall each be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of passwords or other codes to be used by them in connection with BIDS. Bank will act on instructions received through BIDS without duty of further confirmation unless Customer notifies Bank that its password is not secure. [ x ] SWIFT. Bank and Customer shall comply with SWIFT’s authentication procedures. The Custodian will act on instructions received via SWIFT provided the instruction is authenticated by the SWIFT system. [ ] Tested Telex. Bank will accept payment orders sent by tested telex, provided the test key matches the algorithmic key Bank and Fund have agreed to use. [ ] Computer Transmission. Bank is able to accept transmissions sent from Customer’s computer facilities to Bank’s computer facilities provided such transmissions are encrypted and digitally certified or are otherwise authenticated in a reasonable manner based on available technology. Such procedures shall be established in an operating protocol between Bank and Customer. [ x ] Telefax Instructions. A payment order transmitted to Bank by telefax transmission shall transmitted by Customer to a telephone number specified from time to time by Bank for such purposes. If it detects no discrepancies, Bank will follow one of the procedures below.
