Bill of Lading. CARRIER shall issue a uniform standard bill of lading for property it receives for transportation under this Agreement and shall be liable for the actual loss or injury to the property transported to any person entitled to recover under the bill of lading. CARRIER shall perform all services required under the bill of lading. The bill of lading for each shipment shall note that the shipments were transported by CARRIER, acting as a carrier. The name of the underlying shipper shall be inserted in the blank for the shipper, and the name of the Customer shall be inserted in the blank for the Customer. Failure to issue a bill of lading will not affect the liability of the CARRIER. The parties agree that all liability standards and burdens of proof are herein governed by the Interstate Commerce Termination Act, 49 U.S.C. Section 14706 et seq. (the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Amendment), or its successors.
