Common use of Billing Triggers Clause in Contracts

Billing Triggers. ‌ A mutually agreed upon policy and process will be established to determine the criteria that must be met to initiate or stop billing for a Service. These billing triggers will be documented in the Service Management Manual (SMM). At a minimum, the billing triggers should address the following scenarios to determine the appropriate criteria that must be met to generate a Charge increase or decrease: (a) Criteria for a Resource Unit to begin billing (b) Criteria for a fixed milestone or charge to begin billing.
