Standby duty shall not be considered as hours worked. In no case shall an employee continue to receive standby pay once called back to work. 7.6.1.1 Employees in Information Technology who are assigned standby duty to be available to monitor and address technical issues are credited with six (6) hours of pay at the employee’s regular rate or six (6) hours of CTO for one (1) week of standby duty. 7.6.1.2 Employees in the Facilities Department may be assigned to standby duty to respond to emergencies in the absence of management personnel. Facilities employees assigned to standby duty shall be compensated at $4.50 per hour for every hour assigned to standby duty.
