Common use of BREAKS DURING THE WORK DAY Clause in Contracts

BREAKS DURING THE WORK DAY. Each employee working seven (7) hours or more a day will be allowed an unpaid lunch period and two (2) breaks of fifteen (15) minutes duration per day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Each employee working less than seven (7) hours per day will be allowed one break of fifteen (15) minutes per three and one-half hour work sequence. The Administration shall monitor employee work schedule to assure that breaks and lunch times are available. No combination of breaks and/or lunch may be used to allow an employee to leave work earlier than the scheduled time on a regular basis.
