Brief Summary of Services; Definitions. For Project A, the Consultant will assist the University in investigating the potential for the development of a variety of demonstration-scale renewable and sustainable energy projects, including: 1) solar thermal; 2) solar PV; 3) wind; 4) fuel cells; 5) biofuels; and 6) geothermal at no less than twelve (12) suitable and specific campus locations. The sequencing and locations will be consistent with the University’s Academic Plan. The Consultant will also consult with University faculty to identify interests involving these technologies. For Project B, the Consultant will provide investigatory analysis for the planning of the ―Green Depot Campus Initiative‖ as guided by the following excerpt from UConn’s Climate Action Plan: ―UConn’s Depot Campus is a 440-acre parcel located two miles from the Storrs campus. Most utilities on the property are near the end of their life and will need to be replaced or upgraded in the near future. Given the opportunity to redefine this parcel, the School of Engineering, College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR), College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS), and Center for Clean Energy Engineering (C2E2) are working together on a proposal titled Green Depot Campus Initiative. This initiative will research clean and efficient energy systems capable of operation utilizing a multitude of conventional and renewable fuels ranging from hydrogen to biomass and hydrocarbons. The project’s holistic approach will facilitate technology transfer and collaborative research into green energy sources, smart storage, sequestration of CO2 and reduction of the generation of other greenhouse gases, as well as water management. Initially planned to validate and demonstrate a one megawatt (MW) system that will emulate a local community, the campus will be developed to allow for engineered scaling up to five MWs. The campus will utilize power generation based upon adaptive fuel switching and energy storage to assist in utility load leveling using a smart grid.‖

  • Schedule of Services Consultant shall perform the Services in a prompt and timely manner in accordance with the Schedule of Services set forth in Exhibit "B" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. Consultant represents that it has the professional and technical personnel required to perform the Services expeditiously. Upon request of City, Consultant shall provide a more detailed schedule of anticipated performance to meet the Schedule of Services.

  • Modification of Services Credit Union reserves the right to modify the Service from time to time without making prior notice to Member, provided, however, that Credit Union will give you at least thirty (30) days notice prior to making any modifications to the Service that would materially alter their functionality.
