Common use of Building Site Clause in Contracts

Building Site. Storage and Waste Management 4.11.1 The Contractor agrees to erect storage facilities in the form of one temporary storage facility (size and colour to be approved by the BCO) within the cadastral boundaries of the Building Site, the position of which will be dictated by the size of the Building Site and the Construction layout, and to submit a proposed layout of the container position on the Building Site for approval by the BCO prior to the assembly thereof. 4.11.2 The Parties reached consensus that no rubble, waste materials, packaging and any other rubbish generated by the Construction and related activities is to lie on the Building Site, or adjacent ▇▇▇▇▇, and therefore agree that the Contractor is obliged to keep the Building Site neat and free of any litter or other unsightly waste at all times, and that all building rubble will be stored in skips. 4.11.3 The Contractor agrees to have at all time a minimum of one 2mx3m skip on the Building Site to store all rubble, waste materials, packaging and any other rubbish generated by the building operation, which must be emptied when full or at least once a week (or otherwise as instructed by the BCO), as well as a closed container designed and approved by the BCO, for the purpose of the placement of all material which may be blown off the Building Site by wind. 4.11.4 The Contractor agrees to manage the quantity of building material and stock-piling of waste in skips so as to ensure that the storage of all building material and waste, take place within the cadastral boundaries of the Building Site, and agrees that the use of adjoining ▇▇▇▇▇ will only be allowed after written permission from the Owner of the ▇▇▇▇▇ has been acquired and submitted via the BCO to the Estate Manager, who shall approve such a request only after the Contractor has complied with any environmental protection terms and conditions the HOA may impose. 4.11.5 The Contractor agrees that no building material or stock-piling of waste shall take place on the road verge unless prior approval has been obtained from the BCO. 4.11.6 The Parties confirm the Rule of the Estate that no refuse, litter, or waste may be burnt on the Building Site or elsewhere on the Estate. 4.11.7 The Contractor agrees to take all reasonable steps to prevent pollution of surface and groundwater, in particular, through the release of chemicals, paint, oils, fuels, sewage, construction materials or waste products. 4.11.8 Regarding the refuelling of on-site machinery, the Contractor agrees to a maximum of twenty
