Common use of Bumping Restriction Clause in Contracts

Bumping Restriction. In order to bump into a position, a person must hold the industrial certification (if applicable) that supports the curriculum or course of study and must have at least a comparable evaluation to the person being bumped, if applicable. No later than October 1 of each year the Board will post which bargaining unit positions are subject to this requirement and the necessary industrial certification for each position. This posting will remain valid for the remainder of the year.
